When you lose a dog, where does all that love go? The routine, the way they filled the quiet spaces in your day—what happens to all of it? They may be gone, but those feelings remain, lingering like a shadow searching for a place to settle. You still expect to hear the soft thud of their paws on the floor or feel their warm breath beside you, but it never comes. All that love you poured into them now has nowhere to go, leaving you with an ache, heavy and still, waiting for something that won't return. It's a peculiar kind of grief, losing a dog. You lose more than just a pet—you lose a part of your everyday life, a constant companion, and suddenly realize how something so simple could leave such an enormous hole behind. Those feelings don’t just vanish; they hover, untethered, seeking a place to rest but never quite finding it.

Dog People is a collection of stories, prose, and poems that invites you to live with a greater sense of gratitude and tenderness. Each piece captures the essence of a dog's love—their unwavering loyalty, patience, and the way they give without asking for anything but our presence. These stories pull you back to the core of your own heart, reminding you of the love we sometimes forget to show. Dogs love without hesitation, without fear of rejection, and this book gently encourages you to do the same with the people you hold dear. As you turn the pages, you’ll feel a quiet nudge toward living more fully—open-hearted, present, and forgiving—just as dogs have taught us. In a world that often feels disconnected, **Dog People** will guide you back to the pure, unspoken beauty of unconditional love.

STORE POLICY DESCRIPTION:

Read below before purchasing a pre-order to avoid any miscommunication between the publisher and customer.

Pre-orders will begin processing and shipping in late September. Please note that shipments will not go out all at once; orders will be fulfilled in batches.

 1. Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address at the time of purchase. Once an order is processed, we are unable to make changes. If an incorrect address is provided, the customer is responsible for contacting USPS to have the package forwarded to the correct address.

 2. Address Changes Before Processing

If you are moving and your order has not yet been processed, please contact customer support as soon as possible so we can update your shipping information.

 3. Pre-Orders

All pre-orders are final sale and cannot be canceled, changed, or returned. Once submitted, your order is sent directly to our print-on-demand partner for production. Please only place a pre-order if you are willing to wait until the expected ship date.

 4. Order Processing Timeline

Orders are processed in batches, not all at once. This means there may be a delay between when your order is placed and when it is shipped, depending on your position in the processing queue.

 5. Processing Order Sequence

We fulfill single-book orders first to ensure faster processing times. If your order includes multiple books, please expect a longer wait, as these are handled after single orders. To avoid delays, we recommend placing separate single-book orders for gifts or additional recipients such as friends, family, or partners.

 6. Damaged Items

If your item arrives with significant damage (e.g., torn pages, broken binding, or water damage), please contact customer support with clear photos of the issue. We’ll be happy to assist you. Please note that minor imperfections such as light scratches or scuffs on the cover are not considered damage.

7. Customer Support

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our customer support team at Chariseg@yahoo.com. We aim to respond within 1–2 business days and are always happy to help.
